Mission Statement: The Black Inkwell Collective exists to close the gap between Black writers and a publishing industry that claims to champion them but rarely does. We pair vetted agent and small-press access with the structure and community it actually takes to get from manuscript to deal — because talent has never been the barrier. Services: Literary agents and small presses directories, structured query and submission cohorts, and manuscript and query critiques. We also host monthly industry workshops with guest editors and agents, and offer 1:1 coaching for writers who want individualized support through the querying process.
